Inflatable rubber plugs for sealing high-pressure plumbing pipes

  • Pipe sealing plugs are designed to withstand high pressure in the pipe. They are used for temporary blocking of sewer and water supply pipes during repair and cleaning works, preventing fluid leakage.

They are easy and quick to install in the pipe.

Temperature resistance: from -25°C to +30°C

Made according to TU U 600152253.017-98 from oil-resistant synthetic rubber.

    Note: single-use only.

  • High-pressure inflatable rubber plugs are designed for temporary and reliable pipe sealing during maintenance or inspections. These plugs are made from high-quality rubber that ensures flexibility, durability, and resistance to high pressure and chemical exposure. The inflatable design allows precise adjustment to the pipe diameter, effectively isolating the pipe system to prevent liquid or gas leaks.

    Technical Specifications
Material: High-quality reinforced rubber or rubber composite, resistant to chemicals, corrosion, and UV rays.
Working Pressure: Depending on the model, plugs can withstand pressure ranging from 1 bar up to 10 bar (or more).
Pipe Diameter Range: Plugs are adaptable to various pipe diameters, typically from 50 mm to 1500 mm or more, depending on the plug size.
Plug Design: Inflatable body with a special valve that allows precise air inflation control and secure sealing.
Temperature Resistance: Resistant to a wide temperature range, typically from -25°C to +80°C, ensuring safe use in various environments.
    Applications
Plumbing and Pipe Repair: Inflatable plugs are used for temporary pipe system sealing during repair work to prevent leaks of water, chemicals, or other fluids.
Hydraulic Testing: Plugs reliably isolate pipes for hydraulic and pressure testing to ensure pipe integrity and leak-free operation.
Sewage and Drainage Maintenance: Often used for sewage system repair or inspections, as they effectively contain potential spills.
Chemical Transport Line Sealing: Suitable for pipelines carrying aggressive chemicals, ensuring safety and isolating systems from potential leaks.
Construction and Engineering Work: Used as temporary sealing devices during underground construction work or when laying new lines.
    Pros
High Sealing Efficiency: The inflatable design allows precise fitting inside the pipe, ensuring a strong seal and leak protection.
Easy to Use: Easily inserted into pipes and inflated with a hand pump or compressor, enabling quick setup for work.
Versatile Application: Suitable for various diameters and types of pipes, including sewage, drainage, water, and chemical pipelines.
Pressure and Chemical Resistance: Made from high-quality rubber that withstands high pressure and various chemicals, ensuring durability.
Usable in Extreme Conditions: Resistant to temperature changes, UV rays, and environmental factors, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
    Cons
Dependence on Inflation Equipment: Requires inflation equipment (e.g., a hand pump or compressor), which may limit use in areas without access to such tools.
Limited Usage Duration: Inflatable plugs are intended for temporary sealing, so they are not suitable for prolonged or permanent use.
Limited Pressure Resistance: While these plugs withstand high pressure, exceptionally heavy-duty systems may require specialized or mechanical plugs capable of withstanding even higher pressures.
Regular Pressure Check Required: Inflated plugs may lose some pressure over time, requiring periodic checks to maintain a secure seal.
High-pressure plumbing pipe sealing inflatable rubber plugs are indispensable tools for temporary and reliable pipe sealing during repairs, hydraulic testing, or other technical work. Their ease of use, strength, and resistance to chemicals and environmental factors make these plugs suitable for various industrial and commercial applications. They are highly dependable but intended for temporary sealing, making them ideal for short-term tasks and pipe maintenance.
